The Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette is charged with overseeing the institution's animal program, facilities, and procedures. All research, teaching and testing activities involving live vertebrate animals must be reviewed and approved by the Animal Research Committee [ARC] prior to initiation of the activities.
