| New Fringe Benefit Rate for FY 2008-2009 Announced |

The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs has received notification from the
Office of the Assistant Vice President for Financial Services that the fringe rate
for 2008-2009 fiscal year is 30.31%. Effective immediately, the new fringe benefit
rate should be used in preparing proposals for outside financial support for research
and sponsored programs at the university.
